The MCC's to control the new plant. Six Motor control centers in 4 months each of them 800A - 1600A in CUBIC with type tested BUS system. CUBIC is also fully type tested under the new standard including arc fault containment, an important consideration where staff safety and down time minimisation are crucial. The boards are completely IO driven with the lights on the doors being point IO, and every thing else being safety rated point IO. All motors to achieve catagory 4 safety have either dual safety contactors (direct on line and soft starters) or a safe torque off card and single contactor in the case of the variable speed drives.
